Laura's Collection Of Advertising and Travel Posters

Welcome to Laura's collection of advertising and travel posters which is diverse, colourful, interesting, and which also reflects times past. So what is it that inspires us to start collecting things, for some an experience, others a memory, and others - well there are many many reasons too many to list here. But this was a question I put to Laura and she replied; "After my baby brother was born on the 2nd May 1998, all the family was sitting around talking late one night and we decided that by the time my brother was old enough, all that we thought was great about the old days would all be gone. So a decision was made to collect things that were all relevant to the old days, but after a while it became apparent that within weeks we would fill the house up before he was even three years old. We decided to choose a theme, that theme being all things associated with motoring. This is the story so far, we hope you share in our appreciation of all things long gone..."
