Hello and welcome to vintagegarage.co.uk, this site is not specifically about cars but more to do with the industry that supported them - the "garage". Seen through the vintage branding and advertising media of the various companies products and equipment, this site intends to build a photo database covering the petrol and oil industries together with the many associated companies and their products that were designed to keep vehicles on the road i.e. tyres, spark plugs, batteries etc. Covered will be; motor spirit cans, petrol pumps and globes, advertising signage, oil tins, petrol delivery vehicles, photos of old garages, and more...... There are several objectives which we are aiming at but the three most important are;

1) to preserve history by sharing knowledge

2) to help maintain existing interest amongst fellow collectors

3) to encourage new interest in others.
